Hello ,

I've been hooked since mid-January. I bought a 3 inch ready-to-use copter (XJB 145) and can say that I now have the thing under control so far :). After the first major crash and waiting for the spare parts, I realized that I probably couldn't get around a second copter. But I want to build this completely myself and have a few questions for you.

Maybe first what I want to start with:

-70% Freestyle (without Gopro) and enjoy flying. 30% with GoPro on the go for smooth shots and no extreme freestyle.

-Not for racing, I'll use my 3 inch copter for that
;D

-Sooner or later switch to DJI Digital

Questions:

1) When it comes to frames, I really like the Armattan ones. Would have thought of the Marmotte (5 inches) or Gecko (4 inches). If the quality is right here, I'm willing to spend more money accordingly. Am I doing something wrong with the frames?

2) Are 4S batteries enough for what I intend to do? I don't need the last 10% of power and could fly 4S with my 3 inch quad.

3) 4 inches or 5 inches? Unfortunately I haven't flown a larger copter like 3 inches yet. With the 3 inch, I like the small pack size and the fact that it doesn't feel like it can be broken due to its light weight. I tend towards 4 inches. But I don't know how the Gopro +DJI Digital packs it.

There will certainly be questions about the remaining components. But I have to read up on that first. I wanted to buy the frame first and then gradually build the box :)
